Hadn't heard about this until now. Love or hate the Sooners, this is some crazy stuff. The Coaches Poll should definitely be taken out of the BCS equation and I'm frankly surprised that this still goes on from year to year.

this kind of stuff
has been going on for years. On the other hand, the sheer amount of chaos and insanity that is college football seems to be over the top these days.
One has to wonder how much fans can take before something get's done about it.
Something being done, like creating a valid playoff, for example.
Does this BCS plus one thing buy anyone anything? You guys see anything good in it?

I think that is the lazy mans way out of it. If we dont get a real playoff just forget it. Plus one is still the media deciding who is going to get a chance to play for it. It needs to be a 16 team playoff. 8 at the bare minimum but I would rather see 16. I am tired of hearing how Div 1 kids cant do a playoff like the other divisions. What a bunch of crap that is.
