Coach Callahan Addresses Football Team; Refuses to Resign
Posted: Nov 8, 2007 11:20 PM CST
Lincoln, NE - Action 3 News has learned from sources close to the Nebraska Football program that Husker Head Coach Bill Callahan made a bombshell announcement on Thursday night. The sources say Callahan addressed the team before practice and told them he was asked to resign. Callahan told the team he would not resign. Action 3 News sources also say that Callahan told the players to keep playing for themselves because the coaching staff will most likely not return after this season. So far calls to the University of Nebraska for comment have gone unanswered.

I
don't want Callahan to resign immediately. Wait until after the season so he can take full ownership of it.
Bye bye Billy.
