Initial Blogpoll

Rank Team Delta
1 Ohio State --
2 Boston College --
3 Oklahoma --
4 Arizona State --
5 Kansas --
6 Oregon --
7 LSU --
8 West Virginia 1
9 Missouri 1
10 Georgia 10
11 Alabama 4
12 Michigan 9
13 Texas 1
14 Connecticut 12
15 Virginia Tech 7
16 Hawaii 1
17 Clemson 9
18 Auburn 4
19 Florida 8
20 Wake Forest 6
21 Wisconsin 5
22 Boise State 4
23 South Florida 10
24 Southern Cal 12
25 Purdue 1

Dropped Out: Virginia (#16), Kentucky (#18), South Carolina (#19), Penn State (#23), Rutgers (#24), California (#25).

Note no change in the top seven. Regular polls have LSU higher, but I'm not putting them up there until they earn it back, which means they're going to have to do something fantastic or other people have to lose.

The blogpoll is posted here for discussion. I'm particularly interested in where (if at all) you'd rank UConn, Wake Forest, Purdue, and Wisconsin.

How 'bout Boise State re-entering the poll?

I guess...

the only question I have is why Michiagan jumped 9 spots just for beating Minnesota. The game was close until late in the third when Michigan finally wore them down and broke away. And yes I know Mich. was playing without their starting qb and rb but they were playing a team that lost to North Dakota State for gods sake. Most of the others I agree with.

I have jumped on the KU band wagon and am hoping they win the Big XII. If for no other reason then to prove ZeRobertino worng.LOL I kind of like fat bastard also. You just have to wonder if they were to win the MNC if he would drop dead from a heartattack.

because

I think they're better than the other teams below them.

It's not so much about the Wolverines struggling with Minnesota as it is where they are with other teams.

UConn remains somewhat of a mystery to me, but I don't think they're that good.

This poll is corn blight's poll right?

Well, I still think KU is too high, even though they are a solid team, I don't think they're a top 10 team.  I think Mizzou is better--it's close--and would like to see Mizzou beat them to prove me right.  But, I would also like to see KU beat them 'cause I like them better than Mizzou.  Both are in the 14-15 range, IMO.

UConn, yeah right, whatever.

How is USF still in the top 25?

I still think LSU is probably the #1 team, followed by a tie between OR, OSU, and Okie for # 2.  Of the other non SEC contenders I think WV is the most legit followed by ASU, so I have them like 5-7 range.

The SEC is still the best conference and it's safe to say that teams from other conferences getting alot of love in the 5-15 range, would be about the 4th or 5th best team in the SEC.  I just don't see KU/UConn/MO/HI beating FL, LSU, GA, AU, yada, yada, week in and week out.

GA looked good last week, probably the best game of the weekend--so they'll probably lose this week....
