we receive to start.
we've won 37 of the last 38 homecoming games.
we haven't lost at home to OSU since 1960.

OSU scores
on their first possession.
lifeless, we are lifeless.
they could have literally walked down the field slowly and there wouldn't have been any difference.
man.
something needs to happen to this defense.

here
let's see if can properly predict the calls on the next Nebraska series.
- zone off tackle right
- pass- crossing pattern to the left, gain of five.

we seriously have no heart.
none.
there seems to be no pulse.
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 12:09 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
why are we here?
for what reason do we exist?
if we played better, we'd be pathetic.

OSU
scores again.
and why not? who's stopping them?
hey, Texas A&M came back last week. Came back from the dead.
And they won.

it's another
Nebraska Cornhusker first down!
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 12:28 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
It's
becoming the Quentin Castille show.
Which means he'll probably be pulled soon.
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 12:32 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
go
for it.
otherwise, cash it in.
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 12:36 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
and we did
and we sucked.
the play was blown up early when the center couldn't get up the field and penetration cut off the backside guard pulling.
this offensive line doesn't explode on anyone.

by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 1:00 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
38-0
at the half.
i should be drinking more. but i don't care anymore.
that's the saddest thing of all.
The team doesn't care. The coaches have no answers.
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 1:14 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
38
most points every given up at home in first half.
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 1:33 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs
It's Cryin' Time Again
What is there to say?
The only thing that remains to be seen is if THIS debacle will illicit some answers or emotion.
Part of me says there's now way Billy & the Boys can trot out the same old lines.
Another part of me knows they will.

the problem
is that after this game, there are a lot of people who will have ceased to care.
this team isn't worth the effort it takes to boo.
and if something doesn't happen, everyone will lose interest. They'll move from anger to apathy, the worst position possible for a program.
that's why something has to happen.
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 1:47 PM CDT up reply actions 0 recs
life
but.
4th and three now.
and now we don't make it.
by corn blight on Oct 13, 2007 1:44 PM CDT reply actions 0 recs

Funny game thread commentary,
I wish I would've gotten on board, but I could barely arouse myself to a state of apathy to come post. Was only a little surprised by the 1st half blowout, but very surprised that Coz didn't get the ax at halftime. Postgame he says he's still confident in his abilities....unbelievable.....
