Nebraska garnered 42 first-place votes to remain at #1, where they started at the beginning of the season. Penn State is #2, with 12 first-place votes, followed by five Pac-10 teams; UCLA (three first-place votes), USC, Washington, Stanford, and California. Florida and Purdue round out the top ten.

Missouri is on a six-game winning streak, including a sweep of the Texas Longhorns. The Tigers are in second place in the Big 12.

Missouri is promoting a canned food drive for the game - those who bring two canned food items get in free. This year the first 400 students will get free pizza - who isn't for that?

This is a huge game for Nebraska - it's a chance to prove they can win on the road against a top-ranked opponent. Since Nebraska doesn't host a regional this year, it will be important for Nebraska to stand up well in road games.
